This vulnerability is due to a parsing issue on DNS packets. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending crafted DNS packets through routers that are running an affected version and have NBAR enabled. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.","provenance":"source","from":"CVE.org"},"cvss":{"score":8.6,"severity":"HIGH","version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H","provenance":"source","from":"CVE.org CNA"},"epss":{"score":0.02516,"percentile":0.84753,"provenance":"source"},"cwes":[{"id":"CWE-20","name":"Improper Input Validation"}],"references":[{"url":"https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20190327-nbar","tags":["vendor-advisory","x_refsource_CISCO"]},{"url":"http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/107597","tags":["vdb-entry","x_refsource_BID"]}],"priority":{"score":23.0,"factors":[{"name":"EPSS percentile","points":16.95},{"name":"CVSS severity","points":6.02}]},"vendorSlug":"cisco","affectedVersions":[{"vendor":"Cisco","product":"Cisco IOS and IOS-XE Software","versions":["3.16.0S","3.16.1S","3.16.0aS","3.16.1aS","3.16.2S","3.16.2aS","3.16.0bS","3.16.0cS","3.16.3S","3.16.2bS"]}],"euvd":{"id":"EUVD-2019-10295","exploited":false,"provenance":"source"},"lineage":{"familyId":"fam-class-cisco-ios-and-ios-xe-cwe-20"}}
