Prior to version 2.3.5, the DomainZones.add API endpoint (accessible to customers with DNS enabled) does not validate the content field for several DNS record types (LOC, RP, SSHFP, TLSA). An attacker can inject newlines and BIND zone file directives (e.g. $INCLUDE) into the zone file that gets written to disk when the DNS rebuild cron job runs. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.5.","provenance":"source","from":"CVE.org"},"cvss":{"score":8.6,"severity":"HIGH","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","provenance":"source","from":"CVE.org CNA"},"epss":{"score":0.00565,"percentile":0.46827,"provenance":"source"},"cwes":[{"id":"CWE-74","name":"Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component"}],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/security/advisories/GHSA-x6w6-2xwp-3jh6","tags":["x_refsource_CONFIRM"]},{"url":"https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/commit/b34829262dc32818b37f6a1eabb426d0b277a86b","tags":["x_refsource_MISC"]},{"url":"https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/releases/tag/2.3.5","tags":["x_refsource_MISC"]}],"priority":{"score":15.4,"factors":[{"name":"EPSS percentile","points":9.37},{"name":"CVSS severity","points":6.02}]},"vendorSlug":"froxlor","affectedVersions":[{"vendor":"froxlor","product":"froxlor","versions":["< 2.3.5"]}],"affected":[{"ecosystem":"Packagist","package":"froxlor/froxlor","vulnerableRanges":["<2.3.5"],"patched":["2.3.5"],"from":["GHSA-x6w6-2xwp-3jh6"],"provenance":"source"}],"euvd":{"id":"EUVD-2026-14964","exploited":false,"provenance":"source"},"lineage":{"familyId":"fam-froxlor-cve-2026-30932","children":[{"from":"CVE-2026-30932","to":"CVE-2026-41234","relation":"incomplete-fix","confidence":"high","kind":"lineage","evidence":[{"kind":"text","provenance":"source","relation":"incomplete-fix","quote":"This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-30932 (GHSA-x6w6-2xwp-3jh6), which patched the same newline injection for LOC, RP, SSHFP, and TLSA record types but did not patch TXT records.","from":"CVE.org","in":"CVE-2026-41234"},{"kind":"osv-related","provenance":"source","id":"GHSA-x6w6-2xwp-3jh6","via":"related"},{"kind":"osv-related","provenance":"source","id":"GHSA-37m5-m4q3-fc6x","via":"reference","url":"https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-x6w6-2xwp-3jh6"},{"kind":"similar","provenance":"machine","score":0.64,"basis":"same product + CWE + description similarity"}]},{"from":"CVE-2026-30932","to":"CVE-2026-41237","relation":"related","confidence":"high","kind":"lineage","evidence":[{"kind":"osv-related","provenance":"source","id":"GHSA-j6fm-9rfm-j5hx","via":"reference","url":"https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-30932"},{"kind":"similar","provenance":"machine","score":0.36,"basis":"same product + CWE + description similarity"}]}],"packageHistory":[{"cve":"CVE-2025-29773","published":"2025-03-13","fixed":"2.2.6","kev":false},{"cve":"CVE-2025-48958","published":"2025-06-02","fixed":"2.2.6","kev":false},{"cve":"CVE-2026-26279","published":"2026-03-03","fixed":"2.3.4","kev":false,"link":{"from":"CVE-2026-26279","to":"CVE-2026-30932","relation":"successor","confidence":"low","kind":"sequence","evidence":[{"kind":"version-step","provenance":"source","package":"Packagist:froxlor/froxlor","fromFixed":"2.3.4","toFixed":"2.3.5","daysApart":21}]}},{"cve":"CVE-2026-30932","published":"2026-03-24","fixed":"2.3.5","kev":false},{"cve":"CVE-2026-41228","published":"2026-04-23","fixed":"2.3.6","kev":false},{"cve":"CVE-2026-41229","published":"2026-04-23","fixed":"2.3.6","kev":false},{"cve":"CVE-2026-41230","published":"2026-04-23","fixed":"2.3.6","kev":false}],"package":"Packagist:froxlor/froxlor"}}
