A flaw in Microsoft Internet Explorer means the browser does not properly enforce cross-domain policies, allowing information from one domain to be accessed and injected into another. An attacker can exploit this over the network without authentication, but only if a user interacts with the attack, such as by visiting a crafted page.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when Internet Explorer does not properly enforce cross-domain policies, which could allow an attacker to access information from one domain and inject it into another domain, aka "Internet Explorer Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability."
