Android Framework Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
Android · Framework
A logic error in the onCreate method of WindowState.java in the Android Framework allows a background activity to be launched, which constitutes a privilege management flaw. An attacker with local access and low-privilege execution rights, and requiring no user interaction, can escalate privileges on the device.
In onCreate of WindowState.java, there is a possible way to launch a background activity due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
