Apple Multiple products Use-After-Free Vulnerability
Apple · Multiple Products
Apple's multiple products, including macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Safari, contain a use-after-free memory flaw that the vendor addressed through improved memory management. An attacker can cause memory corruption by getting a user to process maliciously crafted web content, which requires user interaction and no prior authentication or network access beyond delivering that content.
A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in macOS Ventura 13.5, iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6, Safari 16.6, iOS 15.8.7 and iPadOS 15.8.7. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to memory corruption.
