Unitronics Vision PLC and HMI Insecure Default Password Vulnerability
Unitronics · Vision PLC and HMI
The Unitronics Vision PLC and HMI, programmed through VisiLogic, ships with a hard-coded default administrative password in versions before 9.9.00 that is also used in Vision and Samba controllers and HMIs. An attacker with network access can authenticate with that default password, requiring no prior credentials or user interaction, and take administrative control of the affected system.
Unitronics VisiLogic before version 9.9.00, used in Vision and Samba PLCs and HMIs, uses a default administrative password. An unauthenticated attacker with network access can take administrative control of a vulnerable system.
