RoundCube Webmail Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerability

Roundcube · Webmail

Summary

Roundcube Webmail, the webmail client, contains a cross-site scripting flaw in versions before 1.5.7 and 1.6.x before 1.6.7 caused by improper neutralization of input during web page generation. An attacker can inject script through SVG animate attributes, and exploitation requires that a user interact with the crafted content (such as opening or viewing a message) and that the attacker can reach the Roundcube instance over the network without authentication.

Official description · NVD
