Microsoft Project Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Microsoft · Project
Microsoft Project contains a flaw in its input validation that lives in the application itself, where it fails to properly check data it processes. An attacker who can get a user to open a crafted file or otherwise interact with malicious content can execute arbitrary code, requiring no authentication and only a user interaction (such as opening the file) to trigger it over the network.

Exploitation timelineDated milestones for a CVE: when it was disclosed, when exploit code became public, when exploitation was confirmed, and when threat reports named it.
First seen exploited the day it was disclosed.
CISA KEV listing is when exploitation was confirmed, not necessarily the first attack.
