SQL injection in user.get API
Zabbix · Zabbix
A SQL injection flaw in Zabbix's user.get API, located in the addRelatedObjects function of the CUser class, which is reached through the CUser.get function. Exploitation requires only a low-privileged authenticated account with API access (such as one holding the default User role or any role granting API access) and needs no user interaction, and an attacker can use it to run crafted SQL against the backend database.
A non-admin user account on the Zabbix frontend with the default User role, or with any other role that gives API access can exploit this vulnerability. An SQLi exists in the CUser class in the addRelatedObjects function, this function is being called from the CUser.get function which is available for every user who has API access.
