Apple Multiple Products Code Execution Vulnerability

Apple · Multiple Products

Summary

A code execution flaw in the WebKit-based browsing and operating system components of multiple Apple products, including Safari, iOS, iPadOS, macOS Sequoia and visionOS, is addressed by improved checks in the fixed releases. An attacker who can get a user to load maliciously crafted web content can run arbitrary code, and the attack is network-reachable and requires no authentication but does require the user to interact with the content.

Official description · NVD

The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in Safari 18.1.1, iOS 17.7.2 and iPadOS 17.7.2, iOS 18.1.1 and iPadOS 18.1.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1.1, visionOS 2.1.1.
