D-Link DCS-932L setSystemAdmin os command injection
D-Link · DCS-932L
The D-Link DCS-932L camera's setSystemAdmin function, reachable at /setSystemAdmin, fails to neutralise special characters in the AdminID argument, allowing OS command injection. An attacker with network access and low-privilege authentication, without any user interaction, can inject operating system commands through AdminID to run them on the device.
A vulnerability was found in D-Link DCS-932L 2.18.01. It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function setSystemAdmin of the file /setSystemAdmin. The manipulation of the argument AdminID leads to os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
