PTC Windchill and FlexPLM Improper Input Validation Vulnerability
PTC · Windchill and FlexPLM
A flaw in PTC Windchill (PDMlink) and PTC FlexPLM allows untrusted data to be deserialized improperly, affecting these products as well as all CPS versions and releases prior to 11.0 M030. An attacker with network access and no authentication or user interaction could exploit it to execute arbitrary code remotely, which would compromise the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the affected system.
A critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability has been reported in PTC Windchill PDMlink and PTC FlexPLM. The vulnerability may be exploited through the deserialization of untrusted data. * This advisory also applies to all CPS versions * The identified vulnerability also impacts Windchill and FlexPLM releases prior to 11.0 M030
