CVE-2026-63350 Critical · 9.6 EPSS 0.3%

Affected devices do not properly restrict executable content contained in imported trace files

Siemens · SIMATIC Drive Controller CPU 1504D TF

Summary

The Siemens SIMATIC Drive Controller CPU 1504D TF does not properly restrict executable content in imported trace files, which are processed by its web server. An attacker who can socially engineer an authorized user holding the "Read diagnostics" function right into importing a specially crafted trace file, without needing prior authentication or direct network access, could run attacker-controlled JavaScript in that user's browser session and carry out PLC operations within the scope of that user's authorization.
