JFrog Artifactory Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory Vulnerability
JFrog · Artifactory
The flaw is an improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory in JFrog Artifactory, where the Docker cache path handling for certain remote repositories fails to keep writes confined to the intended location. An attacker with valid low-privilege credentials and network access to the server can write data outside the Docker cache directory, and exploitation is conditional on a specific remote-repository configuration and requires the attack complexity to be high.
An authenticated user may write data outside the intended Docker cache path under specific remote-repository conditions.
