Google Chromium V8 Type Confusion Vulnerability
Google · Chromium V8
The flaw is a type confusion vulnerability in the V8 JavaScript engine component of Google Chromium. An attacker who can get a victim to load a crafted HTML page can execute arbitrary code inside the browser sandbox, requiring only that the victim visits the page (user interaction) with no authentication or special configuration needed.
Type confusion in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.82 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
